Connecting Google
Optional reporting integrations, available when your operator enables them.
Disabled by default
Google reporting is an optional integration. The server setting GOOGLE_REPORTING_ENABLED defaults to false. While disabled, reporting connections and conversion uploads are unavailable; stored credentials are retained. First-party analytics and CRM work without it.
Google sign-in is separate from reporting. This reference applies after an operator enables reporting and configures the required credentials.
Analytics
All three are connected from Site settings → Google connections.
Connect an authorized Google account and choose a property, or grant the configured service account Viewer access under Admin → Property access management. Use the numeric property ID — not the G-XXXXXXX measurement ID. What Google Analytics adds beyond Zowar’s own figures — users, engagement and devices — appears on the Analytics page rather than a page of its own.
Search Console
When using a service account, add its address under Settings → Users and permissions, then pick your property from the list Zowar offers.
A URL-prefix property (https://example.com/) and a domain property (sc-domain:example.com) are different properties in Google. Granting one and configuring the other fails with a 403 that never says so, which is why Zowar shows you the list rather than a text box.
Keywords and search terms
Once Ads is linked to Analytics, the Google Ads page also shows what you are bidding on and what people actually typed to reach you, with cost, clicks, conversions and cost per conversion for each.
They are two tables rather than one on purpose. The keyword is what you chose; the search term is what somebody searched. Money leaks in the gap between them, and merging the two hides exactly that.
Conversions here are counted by Google Analytics, not by Zowar. A lead records the campaign and ad click that produced it but not the keyword, so this is the only per-keyword conversion figure that can be stated honestly.
Ads
Once Google Ads is linked to your GA4 property, spend, clicks and impressions arrive through Analytics — no Ads API access needed. Uploading offline conversions back to Google is the one thing that still requires the Ads API and an approved developer token.
