Naming your own events

Autocapture labels a click by its text. Name it yourself when you want a name that survives a copy change.

Two attributes, no JavaScript

<a data-pulse-event="project_open" data-pulse-name="granville">…</a>
<button data-pulse-event="service_open" data-pulse-name="content-marketing">…</button>
<a data-pulse-event="whatsapp_click">Message us</a>

Clicks are captured from the document, so this also covers markup rendered after load. Without data-pulse-name, the element’s text is used. Or call it directly:

Pulse.track("project_open", "granville");

Where they appear

Zowar keeps no list of known events. Whatever you send becomes a row in All events, and any event carrying a name also gets its own breakdown — Projects opened, Services opened — with opens and distinct sessions.

Event names containing form, contact, cta, whatsapp, call, book or quote also count toward the funnel’s Showed intent stage. The stage lists exactly which events matched, so a wrong guess is visible rather than silent.
